Agri Show Entry Forms:

Athlone Agri Show 2017 has a fantastic new show committee which has brought with it some amazing features to the show which takes place on the 25th of June.  The show is again held at the conveniently located Athlone Equestrian Centre which is so accessible from all corners of Ireland.

We are proud to announce some feature horse showing classes with prize money in excess of €1,000 in some classes. We  also welcome back SJI Horse and Pony jumping which will cater from New comers to 1.30cm competitors.  The showjumping classes are held on sand with colourful and inviting fences.  Within the sheep section Athlone Agri Show will feature the largest number of All Ireland Breeders Championships.  A huge attraction is also our wide range of dog classes where adults and children alike can show off their four legged friends.  We have further developed our Made in the Midlands food and craft village which show cases regional artesian suppliers and give the general public an opportunity to taste and buy this regional produce.

This year we have had to reduce the number of show sections for the Athlone Agri Show. As is the case with all county shows throughout the country overheads have increased and it is a struggle to secure sponsorship. We made a tough decision and postponed cattle showing for 2017. As it is the most expensive section to run and is a committee we decided to put those funds into providing entertainment for families and give out loyal visitors a fun filled day

The Hall of Fame which  has been part of Athlone Show for the last 14 years.  The Hall of Fame is now run as a separate entity from 2017 and is not part of Athlone Agri Show going forward.

We hope you will be able to attend the show on the 25th of June it promises to be one of the best regional events in 2017.
