Rules and Conditions
1. The Soft Feather final is open to all Soft Feather: Heavy Breed Pairs, i.e Australorp, Barnvelder, Brahama, Cochin, Croad Langshan, Dorking, Faverollers, Frizzler, Marans, New Hamphshire Red, Orpington, Plymouth Rock, Rhode Island Red Sussex, Wyandotte.
2. No more than two pairs from each qualifying show will be eligible to compete in the final.
3. Individual competitors may qualify no more than one pair for the final.
4. Chickens qualifying for entry in the final may not be entered in any other classes at Swinford Show.
5. The chickens must be penned by in the cages provided at the show grounds by 10.30 am
6. Winners to be announced at 2 pm.
7. These rules should read in conjunction with the Irish Shows Association Rules and Swinford Agricultural Show Rules.
8. No bedding allowed in show cages.
9. Exhibitors must be owners and be present at the final.
Entry Fee- To Qualifying Show €3. To Final €6.
Prizes- 1st €125, 2nd €100, 3rd €75, 4th €50, 5th €30, 6th to 12th €20
Final: Swinford Show Sunday 25th August 2024
